Rj 11 connector wiring comes in two standard types.
Rj11 jack wiring. Only difference is the number of wires in the cable. The rj11 standard dictates a 2 wire connection while rj14 uses a 4 wire configuration and rj25 uses all six wires. Though the rj 11 connector has a total of 6 connector positions typically either only 2 or 4 are used.
