208v Contactor Wiring

Im assuming theyre both very simular only difference being youd have to pick up your 24v from a different source instead of l1.

208v contactor wiring. How exactly is it 208v if it is meant to be wired with a 120v through a contactor. See applicable wiring diagram fig. 56 for heater model. Morning gents im trying to find a wiring diagram for a three pole three phase contactor using a 24v coil.

The phote cell is meant to be wired to one leg of 208 and you can control a 208 volt coil contator with it. Compact 1 and 2 pole contactors are available as well as full size devices with 2 3 or 4 poles. Box lugs are standard on contactors 40 a and larger. Only reason why im asking is because i did a job a grocery store and the other electrician that was there before our company ran all the lighting in 208v on a single pole breaker with the neuts on the neut busswhich keep on blowing the capisators so our company rewired all the light fixtures to a 240 system.

Rated wire size and use copper wire suitable for 900 c within sauna walls. The lights are 400w metal helid thanx. Ive found plenty with a 240415v coil but none with a 24v coil. And if you had 208 volt incandesent lamps it would be legal to control them by just switching one leg.
